Jay is a talented German sculptor, originally from Halle and now based in Berlin. Known for his impressive installations, sculptures, and objects, he demonstrates a remarkable ease in his work that suggests he could create with his eyes closed. With a keen intuition for forms and the architecture of spaces, Jay’s construction skills were honed during his biennial residency in New York, where he collaborated with Tom Sachs.In the upcoming interview, Jay will showcase his latest project, “Farbkreis Gabriele,” featuring kaleidoscopic artworks. He will also introduce the art book “Frank Stella: A Retrospective,” edited by Hatje Cantz, which explores the work of the renowned American artist.
